The article begins by inspecting the absence of architectural characteristics under the background of globalization. The brief situation of Chinese traditional architecture research and regional architectural creation are organized. Points are made about the significance of research in the construction of urban and rural living environment. It is also important that the local building wisdom and culture be explored and the precious heritage of vernacular architectural culture be passed on.
