According to large deformation and supporting problem of roadway surrounding rock under deep high stress caused by broken-expand deformation, supporting numerical simulation and optimization on a roadway were studied. two primary support scheme of medium length anchor with self-drilling anchor and short pre-stressed anchor with self-drilling anchor and three secondary support scheme of 5m, 6m and 7m length cable were proposed based on roadway engineering characteristics; Calculation parameters of support structure parameters and surrounding rock were determined based on broken-expand deformation mechanism, and scheme were calculated respectively; Deformation, plastic zone and stable state of surrounding rock under different support were analyzed based on results individually, and optimal support scheme were opted. The results showed that roadway used 5.5~6.0m anchor cable as secondary support whose stability factor can be achieved 1.28 could meet productive requirement.
