This paper presents a soilless cultivation of complex matrix formula design concept: the design of new formulations made waste biomass of agriculture available. It chose the complex organic matter crushed (wheat straw, rice straw, leaves and pine needles) as the main raw materials, and grass charcoal, sand, activated carbon as auxiliary material. The ratio of matrix was made according to the types and proportions of different materials which was made of four groups of vegetables soilless cultivation complex substrate and a set of comparison matrix, then the physical and chemical properties and the planting experiment of the four kinds of compound matrix were measured and compared and good substrate for vegetable cultivation was preliminarily screened. In the experiment, by comparing the validation of the cultivation of Chinese cabbage growth, the results showed that: in the M4 matrix (pine needles) for the growth of Chinese cabbage was the best. The growth and budding amounts in each measuring project showed the best, it meant seedling in best condition. This test will be reference for indoor gardening and greenhouse cultivation and so on, to bring us grow leisure interest and increase agricultural income.
