In this study, a new dynamic separator was designed by the simulation method with the ANSYS CFX11.0 software. It can be found that the flow field was separated into two parts in the rotor region, i.e. the fluid close to the rotor region went up through the rotor grading face, while the fluid in the distant area revolved around the axle forced by the rotor. The results of particle tracking showed that the particles smaller than 60μm can easily go through the rotor region, but the particles bigger than 100μm can hardly go through it.
