How to decide on the right UV primer for wood

For industrial parquet applications, 100% UV coatings have been very well established as primers, sealers and topcoats for many decades. They combine ultimate productivity, high quality and very low VOC. Another option is the use of waterborne UV primers in combination with 100 % UV sealers and topcoats. Waterborne primers are used due to their excellent adhesion, particularly to critical wood substrates. In this presentation, we will compare the properties of various UV primer technologies such as 100% UV mono cure, 100% UV dual cure and a waterborne UV dispersion with newly developed waterborne UV emulsion technologies.
