摘要

Solid state thermochemical reaction method involving mixing, calcining and sintering, has used to prepare high temperature superconductor with a nominal composition Y_(1-x)Gd_xBa2Cu3O_(7-δ) for Gd (0≤ x≤ 0.3). The samples were studied to investigate the effect of preparational conditions and Gd substitution at Y sites on the superconducting properties. The critical temperature Tc of the samples were 86, 93, and 80 K for x= 0.0, 0.1, and 0.3 respectively. The X-ray diffraction analysis showed single phase with orthorhombic structure for all samples.
