Shaftless driving is a kind of advanced and new drive way which can solve the high precision of printing synchronism, mainly used in gravure printing, soft printing and wheel transformation printing equipment but less used in sheet-fed offset press at present. Based on sheet-fed offset press as the research object, the author analyzed the transmission characteristics of sheet-fed offset press, designs a scheme of shaftless driving used in sheet-fed offset press and set up the hardware and software platform, verified the scheme by experiments.
