Surge Arresters and Travelling Waves - (PPT)

摘要

The intent of this paper is to explain the interaction between surge arresters and travelling waves due to lightning strikes. The characteristics of surge arresters and the principle of surge arrester application with respect to travelling waves are discussed. A practical example of transformer protection is then presented.
