The availability of weather data is crucial for an application of data selection methods. However, the data sets are often not complete or have not been digitalized yet. The combination of both problems is not unusual. The completion of weather data for at least past 30 years for scientific purposes is very time consuming and, of course, very expensive. The only solution is obtaining the weather data in commercial way, which presents very unreasonable investment. In this paper, a method for determination of critical weather year for hygrothermal simulation of building construction, which is based on incomplete weather data set, is presented.
