摘要

In this paper a optimization procedure for the design of geometrical configuration of acoustic bricks is presented. The optimization process combines both computational simulation approach together with genetic algorithm. However, for the successful solution several necessary tasks must be accomplished. First, the selection and implementation of proper acoustic model is needed and second, the method for generation of geometrical configuration for the solution by Finite Element Method must be found. Therefore, the paper does not only describe the optimization procedure with recent knowledge and achievements, but also proposes several future objectives necessary for successful solution of the optimization problem.
