On a method of separating hyperplane construction

摘要

An algorithm for constructing an optimal separating hyperplane for the two ellipsoids and its application to the collisions detection problem is presented; the approach is based on the exact method of finding the Euclidean distance between quadrics in multidimensional space and their nearest points.
