Clinical State-of-the-Art Imaging for Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

Over the past several years, a multitude of imaging modalities have become available for the diagnosis and staging of pancreatic cancer. These modalities include multidetector-row CT (MDCT), dual energy CT (DECT), MRI, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreaotography (MRCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and PET/CT. In addition to developing an understanding of these modalities, it is also important to know how best to use each modalities to its strengths. The purpose of this monograph is to review the current clinical state-of-the-art imaging for the diagnosis and staging of pancreatic cancer.
