Traditional and new applications of molybdenum metal and alloys

摘要

For a number of years Molybdenum metal has been utilized in a wide variety of important industrial applications. Now, more than a century after the commercialization of this metal, Molybdenum continues to find application in long standing traditional markets as well as novel emerging technologies. This paper seeks to illustrate some of the interesting properties of Molybdenum metal as well as chronicle traditional and emerging applications that are poised to insure the continued use of this interesting material through the next century.
