Failure Mode Analysis of Soft Soil Foundation with Upper Crust under Subgrade Load

摘要

Based on practical construction, the FEM software ABAQUS is adopted to simulate the process of filling in layers of subgrade to analyse the failure mode of soft soil foundation with upper crust under subgrade load. Process of development of plastic zones and stress-strain behavior are mainly studied. The conclusions in this paper could provide some references to bearing capacity and failure mode research of soft soil foundation with upper crust as well as practical constructions.
