Analysis on Social and Cultural Environment for Scientific and Technological Innovation Pondering on the reason why no Chinese citizens have won the Nobel Prize for Science

摘要

The major reason why no Chinese citizens have won the Nobel Prize for Natural Science is that the political, economic, cultural and educational environment in China is not favorable for scientific and technological innovation. In order to fulfill the Nobel Prize dream of Chinese people, China should provide relaxed and free political environment for the scientific researchers, create a market-led scientific and technological mode, build a cultural atmosphere for development and innovation and renew the traditional backward educational concepts.
