A small scale two-sided market is an 《ecosystem》 or a "community". A main actor ("the platform") makes sales to resellers and buyers, who meet, the resellers selling services to the buyers. There are entry costs, since "the platform" recovers the cost of what it sells. The platform's profit comes from a part x of the price of the transaction (like royalties). Contrary to a large scale two-sided market, there is not a platform buying and reselling goods or services, the two prices being standard ones.
