This contribution describes a method for determining particles emissions in industrial environments caused by the dusty nature of the raw materials used in the industrial manufacture. The methodology used to estimate PM_(10) and PM_(2.5) emission rates is based on an inverse modelling technique, which uses a Lagrangian Puff model. In this study we propose a methodology and describe the strategies adopted to carry out three experimental campaigns to estimate PM_(10) and PM_(2.5) emissions from diffuse sources produced during the activities of cement manufacture, steel and ceramic.
