Press-Sinter Simulation Tool and its Applications

摘要

We developed the simulation tool for die compaction and sintering behavior. We used the Shima-Oyane model for die compaction and master sintering curve concepts based on Kwon model including densification, grain growth, and deformation for sintering. We also developed the experiment procedure for obtaining all material parameter for the simulation. For verification of the developed simulation tool, several materials have been used including tungsten heavy alloy, stainless steel, tungsten carbide, alumina, etc.
