The long-term hot water immersion behavior of Glass reinforced composite(GFRP) and Jute reinforced composite(JFRP) has been discussed in previous study, as it concluded JFRP began to lost the weight from the very start of immersion interval, while the GFRP performed later a period of time. However the water absorption and weight loss mechanism didn't reflect and illustrate clearly. In this paper, additional hot water immersion test has been carried out by decreasing water temperature and shorten immersion time. The experiment's results showed the JFRP had the stage of no weight loss as the GFRP did in former study, but it was a very short period by contrast. Consequently, it was concluded that weight loss mechanism of JFRP was similar to GFRP, nevertheless the JFRP displayed comparable higher water ratio.
