SOFC Unit Cells and Stacks by Elcogen

Elcogen is manufacturer of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolysis (SOE) unit cells and stacks. Elcogen is located in Estonia where the unit cell development and production are located and in Finland where the stack development and production are located. The company was originally established in 2001 in Tallinn and the Finnish subsidiary was established in 2009. Elcogen has been investing extensively in product R&D through its research institute partners both in unit cell and stack. Unit cell development has been conducted in close cooperation with an exclusive contract with the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics and University of Tartu, and stack development together with VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
