Point Source Power develops consumer products incorporating innovative metal-sup ported SOFC technology licensed from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Metal-supported fuel cells are extremely rugged, tolerant to a wide range of fuels, and enable robust metal-to-metal seals and joints. Point Source Power produces metal-supported cells with infiltrated anode and cathode catalysts. The cells are designed to operate in the 650-850°C range, on a wide variety of fuels. This presentation will focus on: development of the cell architecture, including materials selection and manufacturing methods; and, performance and durability of consumer products with a range of fuels.
