摘要

The thermal decomposition of TiH_2 during melt hydrogenation process is physically simulated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The thermal decomposition characteristics of TiH_2 are recorded during heating at different rate in a ceramic crucible in the condition of vacuum. The results depending on the thermogravimetry loss weight curve of TiH_2 show that the initial temperature of thermal decomposition is between 465°C and 505°C, and does not greatly increase with the increasing of heat rate; but the terminal temperature dramatically increases. The decomposed weight percent of TiH_2 decreases firstly and then increases with increasing heat rate, but the time interval for TiH_2 decomposition decreases with increasing of heat rate.
