摘要

Alfalfa with moisture content 17% is compressed on a modified 9KG-350 Baler. Stress relation experiments are conducted in different cross section of baling room, namely width and height of 360mmX460 mm, 385 mm X460 mm, 410 mmX460 mm, 460 mm X460 mm, 510 mm X460 mm as well. Mechanical constitutive equation of alfalfa material in each baling area is obtained with stress relation data, the generalized Maxwell model constituted of 3 parallel Maxwell elements proved effectively describe the rheological behaviour of baled alfalfa wafer. It provides a deeper view to understand physical characteristic of bale's deformation and some helpful reference in designing balers.
