摘要

Three-dimensional theory of elasticity and refined Timoshenko-Mindlin's shell theory are used to study free vibrations of continuously inhomogeneous cylindrical bodies. The corresponding problem is solved by spline-collocation and discrete ortogonalization methods. Results obtained for continuously inhomogeneous cylinders of FGM and cylindrical shells with variable thickness in the circumferential direction are presented.
