The Specificity of the relationship between management and culture is given by the fact that the manager goes beyond his initial, traditional mission of manager, the one that he has consolidated within the company, which is to determine a profit that has to be as significant as possible. Placed in the culture service, the manager engages in the area of systematic creativity and goals of a completely different kind, radically different from those in the economic area. Thus, he becomes a determined, while culture appears like the product of action. The manager in the economic area aims at competitiveness and efficiency (achieving a good relation between all relevant effects and the total effort), as opposed to managing the cultural institution which aims to be especially effective, that is to achieve predetermined objectives, to produce the expected effects, to provide the logistics of the cultural phenomenon etc.
