The Rapid Prototyping devices could be today classified as manufacturing systems. They are not just experimental devices for prototype production, but they are also used to produce special parts or in short-run production. They save costs for molds or special fixtures preparation, because they are able build special shapes and geometry without others devices, fixtures or supporting tools. If we want to use the parts produced by Rapid Prototyping technology, and use them as real parts, we have to know more information. Very important are the material properties which are depended from many factors which influence this. The same situation is with dimensional accuracy, what is important if we need to assembly this parts to existing structure. The aim of presented paper is to show the influence of selected factors to time necessary for part production on small FDM device.
