E-BUSINESS Reviewing: Social Impact of Information Technology application (Case Study: Slovenia)

摘要

The main objective of the paper is to present the characteristics of business renovation efforts and readiness for electronic commerce (e-business) in Slovenia. Renovation is presented as the key component of electronic commerce and guidance the highest level of the strategy change management that often can not be treated by continuous improvement and reengineering methods or organizational restructuring. The results of research on Business Process Reengineering (BPR) projects, methods and tools as well as strategic planning is being presented and discussed. The document stresses the need for changes in organizational culture, management techniques, socio-economic restructuring and other changes leading to a change in organizational restructuring in the context of globalization (e-business, etc.).
