Local development and public services in E.U. countries

We appreciate that local development potential in Europe starts at local level, giving local powers and resources to manage their destiny. The extent to which the state retains control over the development of different and manifested in varying degrees, but have noted the unanimous will to apply administrative decentralization and subsidiarity, the practical aspects are clearly drawn with nuance related to the tradition, history and culture. Broadly speaking, the powers granted to local levels of administration are similar, differing mechanisms of operation and cooperation between them. The notes also tend to involve a wide range of actors in the development process: citizen participation in decision-making processes and encouraging private sector involvement in providing various public services.
