Errors and Convergence in NumericalSimulations of Ricci Flow on 2-DimensionalSurfaces

摘要

Some investigation on the convergence of numerical simulations with Ricci flow aredescribed. The main purpose is to establish an interval of proper second order convergence ofthe numerical implicit finite differences schema we used to establish after how many number ofiterations is necessary to reparametrise the system of coordinates we used to maintain thestability of the numerical simulations as long as possible.
