INFLUENCE OF SEWAGES FROM THE INDUSTRIAL ZONE OF URANIUM PRODUCTION ON THE STATE OF THE WATER OBJECTS

The situation with waste and disposal remains critical in Ukraine. An overwhelming majority of wastes continues to be accumulated on the territories of enterprises and not meet the requirements for ecological safety. The greatest amount of pollutants to get in the rivers from industrial zone. The surface water quality, even taking into account the total reduction in wastewater discharges, shows no considerable improvement. A level of water pollution of some water bodies, which require urgent water protective measures, has remained unsatisfactory during several years. Almost all rivers and reservoirs are greatly affected by man-made activities.
