In coal and gas outburst coal mine, local measures of preventing and cure outburst main de pendent on drill holes now. The effective gas let diameter of drill hole can be determined through the study on let zone width of excavate work face in coal seam. And it can provide theory direction of gas prevent and cure. Based on the theory study on pressure attribution law caused by above strata, the seam along the direction of against laneway is divided into three different broken zones of pressure relief zone, pressure concentration zone (plastic zone and elastic region) and primitive pressure zone. And the corresponding gas occurrence and moving law model is established in different zones. Then gas seepage law of pillar coal seam is studied. The influence factors of gas seepage law are also carried based. Results of the study show that the study method of dividing the seam into different zones can better master gas occurrence law, and provide theoretical dependence for gas prevent and cure during coal lane' s driving.
