PROPERTIES OF AN OUT-OF-AUTOCLAVE PREPREG MATERIAL: OVEN VERSUS AUTOCLAVE

The trade-off between economy of manufacture and performance properties of out-of-autoclave processing of new prepregs of graphite fiber/epoxy composites is examined in the present study by measuring a wide variety of mechanical properties of a new material system under development by Toray, T700G/2510 unidirectional tape 35 percent resin (TCSPF-T-UD07).
