The Inherent Decisive Factor of the Income Gap between the City and the Rural: a Statistical Analysis Based on the Human Capital

There are many reasons that cause the income gap between the city and the rural. But the most fundamental and inherent reason is the human capital gap between the city and the rural. The asymmetrical distribution of the human capital causes the different development energy of the city or the rural. Based on the model of endogenous economy development, this article analyses the relationship of the human capital distribution and income gap between the city and the rural. The result indicates that the two sides are interrelated notably. The human capital gap causes the income gap between the city and the rural.
