1. Mycotoxins are ubiquitous dangerous contaminants of food commodities; 2. It is therefore important that appropriate rapid and sensitive methods of analysis are developed and applied. 3. This requires a deliberate and focussed investment in the infra structure, instrumentation and skilled personnel required for this purpose.
