Report on 2009-2010 SANAS National Comparison on Resistance Measurements

Accredited calibration laboratories are required to provide confidence in measurements by participating in laboratory comparisons. The NMISA was asked by SANAS electrical dc low frequency specialist technical committee to organise and coordinate a comparison on 10 m(OMEGA), 1 OMEGA, 10 k(OMEGA), 1 M(OMEGA) and 1 G(OMEGA) resistance measurements. The comparison measurements started in May 2009 and were completed in March 2010. This report presents calculations of reference values, behaviour of travelling standards and measurement results reported by participants
