Testing new components or their operation in different conditions is important as their technical development. The paper presents a new control system developed for a solid oxide fuel cell test rig. The new control system is based on following concepts: 1. System reliability; 2. Testing reproducibility; 3. Data acquired accuracy; 4. Easy management This control system has been developed by National Instruments LabView software, which is a visual development environment. Also, the authors used particular self-made instruments drivers to obtain total real-time acquisition of the most important signals. In this way, the authors reached high reliability levels with simplified development and management of a complex laboratory test, while improving quality of data acquired.
