Measuring and Reducing GHG Emissions from the Supply Chain: A Climate Leaders Perspective

Since 2002, the Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Leaders program has provided valuable guidance and recognition to leading companies to help them develop and implement long-term comprehensive climate change strategies via voluntary greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting and goal-setting initiatives. These strategies have been road-tested by more than 280 companies across a broad range of industry sectors including cement, forest products, pharmaceuticals, utilities, information technology, small manufacturing and retail. Climate Leaders Partners have contributed to the advancement of voluntary corporate climate change management practices through the development of rigorous GHG accounting standards, inventory management plans, and innovative reduction opportunities.
