In this paper, according to the gun interior ballistic dynamics principle, an ideal gun interior ballistic model is established, and the analysis formula is theoretical derived based on the gas dynamics.The problems of artillery projectile muzzle velocity are discussed by using this theory, such as the influence of different altitude environment atmosphere on the muzzle velocity of the projectile, the quantitative analysis of impact of the altitude, the pressure ratio and other parameters on projectile muzzle velocity.To solve this problem is helpful to provide the reference for related application.
