Polymer Carbon Sieves, Graphitized Polymer Carbons and Graphitized Carbon Blacks for Sample Preparation and Purification Processes

Spherical, high purity graphitized polymer carbons (GPC) and spherical, high purity carbon molecular sieves (CMS) have been synthesized for use in bench-scale sample preparation processes. The use of new spherical GPC and CMS particles in packed bed systems and coated devices provides a recent advancement in these technologies. Carbon blacks have also been graphitized for use in bench-scale sample preparation processes. Several CMS carbons have also been prepared with varying surface pH values for bulk-scale processes.
