The amazing structural and unusual morphological properties of carbon nanofibers (CNF) and carbon nanotubes (CNT) opening several research fields and applications. They are characterized by a high specific surface area and great aspect ratio. A fusion of CNT and CNF with a porous ceramic substrate with defined porosity offers special properties for applications in membrane technology.
