摘要

Due to the superb properties of vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VACNTs), the synthesis, properties, and application of VACNTs have been investigated intensively.[1, 2] However, the SiO2/Si or Al2O3 substrate employed for VACNT growth are insulators which hamper the direct application of VACNTs in those areas that require desirable integrated electrical and thermal conductivities.[3] So, VACNTs are always transferred from insulating grwoth substrates to conducting substrates[4] On the other hand, Tatsuki et al. reported direct growth of VACNTs on conductive Ni-based alloy foils.[5]
