OUTCOME OF KIDNEY TRANSPLANTS FROM LIVING DONORS IN PATIENTS WITH DSA

Anti-HLA DSA has been previously considered an absolute contraindication to transplantation. However, progress in antibody detection, desensitization, early diagnosis and treatment of antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) currently permits successful transplantation of sensitized recipients with kidneys from living donors. The objective of this study was to analyze the prognostic value of Complement Dependent Cytotoxicity (CDC), Flow Cytomery Cross Match (FCXM) and Solid Phase Assay (SPA) when used alone or together for pre-transplant evaluation of DSA.
