On the third day of the conference, the presenters focused on treatment of antibody mediated rejection (AMR) using new and established approaches. The first three presentations discussed the use of bortezomib-based regimens to remove the alloantibodies, followed by a case report on successful management of sensitized pediatric heart recipient treated with Rituxan~R. The last two presentations dealt with a review of different approaches to manage highly sensitized patients and to choose the appropriate strategy to successfully secure a renal allograft.
