Semiconductor Lasers with Integrated Plasmonic Polarizers

摘要

We report control of semiconductor laser polarization by patterning plasmonic structures on the laser facet. Linearly-polarized laser emission along an arbitrary polarization direction and a combination of linearly- and circularly-polarized laser emission are demonstrated.
