Based on the basic condition of 15071 working face in Da ping Mine, numerical simulation method was used to study the supports and sorrounding rock interaction of sublevel caving hydraulic. The findings indicated that bigger the working cycle step of the working face, bigger the stress concentration factor in coal front of the working face, bigger the area influenced by mining, more disadvantageous for the support's stabilization and the safety in production of the working face, therefore, suggested that the working cycle step of the working face is not bigger than 1.6m.
