摘要

Transient three-dimensional laminar incompressible flow with rigid wall has been solved with a commercial 3D finite-volume numerical code. Instantaneous velocity vector and wall shear stress vector fields illustrate strong disturbed flow patterns. Implications of elevated surface contours of hemodynamic wall parameters, disturbed flows, and particle deposition sites are discussed in this paper. The purpose of this paper was to noninvasively assess hemodynamic parameters such as mass flow, wall shear stress, and wall pressure with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in coronary arteroschlerosis using patient-specific data from computed tomography (CT) angiography.
