Pigments and additives such as processing or light stabiliers are value adding elements of a plastics part. Various formulating routes may be followed to achieve requirements of a plastics article such as color and end-use performance but not all of them are adequate. Even, from time to time some formulations may lead to undesired interactions or side effects that ruin the value of the plastics recipe.Ciba will unveil in this paper some relevant example of optimized pigments and additives combinations and benefits they can bring to some of the players in the plastics processing chain.
