A new lifting method called the underwater lifting, which is different from the traditional lifting methcd on water surface, is considered being utilized by the developing deep-sea technology.Lumped mass method is employed to build up the dynamic movement mathematics model of the lifting cable. In this paper, it is discussed and researched that the attraction force characteristic and mechanism of goods sitting on the sea bed, and computes out the adsorbing force. It describes how to solve the problem that the total length of the cable out of the lifting ship ts variable during recovering goods and gives boundary condition and initial condttion. It simulates and analyses in detail the process of recovering goods including off-bottom, recovering cable, which are both important steps of the whole underwater lifting operation, and gets the dynamic response and the mechantcal characteristic each step.
