摘要

The numerical simulation methodi of unsteady motion for the underwater vehicle is presented in this paper, by use of Fluent software package and on basis of dynamic mesh technique. In the established method, the hydrodynamic forces in the unsteady motion were calculated through the coupling of Fluent solver and the mathematical model of motion as the form of UDF. Meanwhile, with the utilization of the method, the unsteady diving motion of an underwater glider was numerically simulated, which accorded well with the experimental data. The results indicate that the prediction method stated in this paper can be applied to the study of unsteady motion for the underwater vehicle.
