Introduction The expansion of urbanism and industrialization of societies have led to decrease in quantity of natural physical and body move and due to poor exercises and lowered physical activities, the joints movement range in different parts of body has been decreased. The muscular power and resistance has gradually diminished. Development of postural and functional symptoms are among other results of lack of sufficient exercises. Normal line of spinal column depends on its muscular, bone and joint structure functions; therefore, weakness in spinal chord supporting muscles could imbalance height balance and this is usually called postural abnormalities. On the other hand, balance of body also depends on the muscle and joints of lower body. Balanced physical posture is among required knowledge of people in order to observe them in their lifetime so while preventing physical abnormalities enjoy a comfortable and healthy life. The necessity of this is to know standard natural positions and familiarity with the weakness and abnormalities developed in physical posture as well as studying their prevalence in different societies. Postural abnormalities could be caused by lack of mobility and unsuitable motory patterns and might cause undesirable effects on the psychological- social and physiological function of people.
